A new shopping experience
The Mint takes the shopping experience to a whole new level, capitalising on the large-scale inner city renewal currently happening in the Capital of Europe. By expanding the pedestrian zone, the public authorities will transform the downtown core into a vibrant, people-friendly place designed to appeal to Belgium’s hyper-connected, urban-oriented Generation Y.
The next generation of retail in the downton core
The Mint is strategically located in the middle of this urban renewal project : modernising rue Neuve (2016-2017), converting place De Brouckère and boulevard Anspach up to Place de la Bourse into a pedestrian-only zone (2016), and renovating the De Brouckère metro station (2016), Brussels’ busiest station, currently accessible via the lower level of the complex.
